Blue Ocean Waves had its Gospel Concert on the occasion of its 10th anniversary on 12th April 2019 titled Jesus, Lover of my Soul at Kala Academy, Panaji Goa India. Sonia Shirsat, renounced singer of Goa was the Chief Guest. We had Mr Avelino D’sa (President of Star Investments and Disability Rights Association of Goa) and Mr Rozendo Mendonsa (President of The National Association for the Blind) as the guest of honour. Sonia Shirsat and Johnny Be Good enthralled us with their dynamic voices. This event was compared by Karen Desilva. We had the most amazing band members that comprised of Joaquim Almeida (student of Blue Ocean Waves) on the Keyboard, Joel Almeida(From Band Legacy) on rhythm guitar, from Melodica, we had Johnson Pereira on keyboard and Valentina D’souza as backing vocalist, From the band The Rin Collectives, we had Brian Martins on the bass, Leander Mascarenhas on the Lead Keyboard and Ian Bocarro on the drums.
